Porcellio scaber
A lovely bright sunny day today , out early for a bike ride before it got too busy , still alot of ice about and some of the back roads have lots of potholes over them . Did a bit of gardening when I got back and these common rough woodlouse were all over the place they are facinating little bugs dating back at least 160 million years well before the dinosours were around . We have 47 species of them in the uk from the 3500 know to inhabit the earth :)
