Dungeness is an amazing, unspoilt, barren wilderness.

Dungeness is a carbuncle on the pimple in the armpit of Kent.

I am firmly in the former camp. I love the fact that it is at the end of the long road from the back of beyond to no-where.

It is also officially a desert - despite there being neither sand or camels!?
