Surprise!

My sister Sarah lives in Hamburg, Germany and about 6 weeks ago her housemate, her boyfriend, her friend Rokeya and myself started hatching a plan to surprise her and to celebrate the lead up to their wedding. Unbeknown to Sarah, Rokeya and myself flew over to Hamburg this morning. Wendell (Sarah's boyfriend) met us and took us back to their flat while her housemate Lottie kept Sarah busy at work. Rokeya and myself, along with Sarah's friend Robin hid in the basement of the stairwell trying not to giggle when Sarah and Lottie came home from work. Five minutes later Robin went upstairs and knocked on the door to say hello, not that unusual as he lives in Hamburg but a pleasant surprise! Then I went upstairs (hiding behind a bunch of flowers) and knocked on the door, surprise! Sarah was flabbergasted and it was brilliant! Then Rokeya arrived and Sarah was even more surprised! We all had glasses of fizz before two more of her friends arrived and we all went out for an amazing dinner.

It was perfect and Sarah hadn't suspected a thing!
