Old and the New

Our old car was having transmission problems, and had a burning smell going up hills, so it was time to trade it in. Buying a new car is sort of exciting, but we both find it hard to say goodbye to the old car and all the memories that we had with it. Even though it’s just a hunk of metal (and plastic these days) we feel a little guilty leaving it behind, driving away in the new one.
