A busy day in a not-so-busy way!

Back from church this morning to run round the house with a vacuum cleaner and start an ironing. Friends had said they would pop round, so I thought I had better make an effort to make the place presentable. They arrived before the ironing was finished, so that gave me a good excuse to take a break.

A good blether with them over a coffee for a wee while, and about 30 minutes after they left my cousin phoned for our regular Sunday afternoon catch-up. About 30 minutes after that one of my other friends phoned and we had a good blether on the phone too. This ironing was definitely being done in stages with long gaps in-between.

A much more sociable day than I had expected and all the better for it.

Grabbed a photo of a peace lily flower in my living room between chats as it looked likely that I wouldn't get out for a walk today. This was a gift from a church where I led worship a few weeks ago and when things didn't quite go as planned for various reasons. Came in handy as a Blip-prop on this occasion.
