Racing spirit

Final day of the race season at Silverstone and thankfully dry again. Another great year of motor sport spending many hours on post enjoying the company of my fellow marshals with occasional visits from drivers.

Today's blip is Colin and his friend Neil. I first met Colin at this race meeting  last year but he was trapped in his car having had a high speed impact with another car that destroyed the front of his. Despite a long stay in hospital and double amputations Colin is incredibly cheerful and positive about everything, driven and supported by his strong faith. A real joy and privilege to catch up with him today.
