John Grey & Sons Banjo 1930s
The Benares brass resonator of this 4 string tenor banjo is a real eye catcher even if the instrument's owner claims that it "flatters to deceive". Made in London in the 1930s by John Grey & Sons, it is a typical example of a banjo to be found in rhythm sections of dance and dixie bands of the following decades.
