Manual handling.
A friend wanted a couple of spare slabs. He’s redesigning a bit of his garden after installation of a big hot tub. The task meant I’d to dig out my old sack trolley in the garage; worthwhile though - we managed the job with ease. Winter work gloves now - warm hands are good news. All this led to a bit of an impromptu (overdue) garage tidy up.
Younger son came over to watch Scotland v Australia at Autumn Nations Cup at Murrayfield. He was wearing some Scotland Rugby kit from one of today’s players; nice quality, as aye. It was a full crowd and first of that size in over 600 days. The game was a Covid Passport etc event; ie proof of double vaccination for o18year olds etc. We held our breathe here a few times in the last 10 minutes! But intensity and endeavour, and the resolve of the team, paid off. Win 15 - 13!
Older son was with friends in Edinburgh.
