A lone individual from the "Elmer Trail"...
Back in 2019, the local hospice (St Oswald's) ran a fundraising campaign when local artists painted 50 model elephants in all sorts of different designs. At the same time, 114 local schools decorated mini elephants. The elephants were auctioned off in November 2019, raising a sum of £182,000.
We came across this elephant at the White Swan Centre in Killingworth this afternoon, whilst attending for our Covid booster jabs so I reckoned it would be a suitable blip subject. As you can see, this one was painted by West Moor Primary School.
As we expected, the booster jab was the Pfizer one (our first two jabs were the Astra-Zeneca one).
