Allotment Apples

We spent a few hours on the allotment today as we embarked on our winter tidy up.  I reckon we've got a good few sessions ahead of us to get it in ship shape.  Oddly a couple of things are trying to produce again - broad beans, strawberries in green.  

The apple tree was sold to us as a Katy variety.  I'm not sure that's right mainly as Katy is supposed to crop in early September and this tree is consistently at the end of October!  Not that it matters - the apples are a bit on the tart side but still good.
