Iron Bridge
Once again (cos I photograph it in all seasons and weathers), the iron bridge over the long defunct Whelley Loop Line Railway that passes through Haigh Plantations near Wigan.
The carpet of golden leaves is superb at this time of year, and serves to completely hide any signs of the path, making it appear that the bridge serves no purpose other than to decorate the woodland.
