Doggie meet up

I was invited to take part in a meet up with owners of setters.  As Luna is half and half No1 son and his wife were included.  The dogs all got on very well together but I couldn't keep up the pace with the younger energetic walkers.  (d in l is in the foreground.  I cropped out son as all you could see was the big filled  poo bag he was carrying!)  I opted to drop out and have a meander on my own as I am familiar with the area.  It was a very blowy walk and I chatted to a lot of other dog owners who were out getting exercise.  
Then got a phone call to help out No2 son as his daughter needed a lift from college, where she had been taking an exam, to her part time job.  They have an electric car and his wife was stuck on her way home trying to find a working charger.
It was a lovely drive through the countryside.
Mothers have their uses!
