Autumn sunrise

I did it. I got up early and made the half-hour drive to Sideline Hill to get sunrise photos. It was beautiful. And cold. Way too cold. But the photos were worth it.

At first I started on the wrong side. I had a decent view, but there's a highway between where I was and the valley, so I had to aim higher. I saw a photographer on the other side, so I realized I should go to that side. I could have crossed the pedestrian bridge, but instead I drove to the next exit and turned around. I didn't miss much, but I am kicking myself a little for not realizing I could have made it easier.

Friends, this is the best photo I've taken since the waterfall. I am glad I did it.
