Tea Advent Calendar

The postman arrived with a parcel for me from my brother. He bought me one last year, which I enjoyed, so was pleased when he suggested the same thing this year.
The SAS had a painting day today, so not long after the post and gift arrived I was off for the day. It rained all day so an indoor activity was the best option. It made me think of the Sky painting competition. They paint a whole picture in 4 hours. I have no idea how they do that! I managed a viaduct across the centre of the page in 5 hours and I hadn’t even finished that bit (see extra). Having been home about an hour we had a power cut. This lasted nearly 5 hours, so we prepared and ate our dinner in the dark. The power returned in time for me to go to bed! This is why I am late posting today’s (or is it yesterday’s) blip :-)
