Afternoon
There's something therapeutic about the garden. It's tactile, I can see where I've been, and while some things don't work out, the majority of the garden heals and recovers. It's remarkably forgiving. There's always a lesson for my soul, it's sanctuary.
I added homemade compost and blood and bone to some of my worst soil. Lots of feed to things that fruit and flower, water to some of the driest parts.
I didn't finish planting veges or mulching. But I did start to address the post-winter shambles that vaguely resembles ferns and other tender plants.
Today's gratitude: For really good conversation.
