Day 33 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1

Time seemed to fly by today, but we managed to get out for a walk in the afternoon sunshine - 3km on the flat.  Not our usual distance, but my leg held up reasonably well, which is pleasing.


The beaches were well patronised again today, but it was the sailing dinghies that caught our eye, as well as a kite surfer, who had to walk out almost as far as the little dinghies to get enough water to put his board in as it was a very low tide.

There are 113 new cases of Covid-19 in the community today, of which 109 are in Auckland, 3 in the Waikato and 1 in Northland.
