B-Day

The countdown is over, as is the build-up. What a great week it has been.

I was surprised at the end of the pub lunch with a delicious ginger cake which had been made collaboratively by my friends. It was a wonderful final treat.

I particularly enjoyed the numbers spelled out in dried beans.

The first extra shows my enjoyment of the occasion. And the second is the huge bunch of peonies which another friend brought round earlier this morning.

An excellent day.
