Cake

Well King Alfred's cake actually. Not a very exciting photo but it is an interesting fungus in the respect that it has great use for fire starting and fire keeping.

It is good tinder to catch a spark and it can keep an ember for many hours to be able to relight a fire. Very popular in bushcraft.

Oh and a late post after a 500 mile drive to get home.
