Collioure Window

Collioure is a fantastic old fishing village in the South of France, near the Spanish border.

In the early 20th century Collioure became a center of artistic activity, with several leading artists making it their meeting place. André Derain, Georges Braque, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Charles Rennie Mackintosh have all been inspired by its amazing light and beautiful surroundings.

A great deal of effort is made to maintain the picture postcard image, as this window in one of the back streets shows.
