London treats
A memorable day with my lovely daughter B. She took me for lunch at Dishoom, a vibrant cafe-style restaurant chain that takes its inspiration from Irani cafes in old Bombay. The collage includes a photo from the foyer, check out the 'cafe rules'.
Later we went to the 'Bowie 75' pop up exhibition/shop in Heddon Street (the street where the iconic Ziggy Stardust album cover photo was taken). Some very enjoyable browsing amongst the merchandise and memorabilia.
It was great to see central London so busy - it felt almost normal and I hope nothing will happen to change that but you do think - on a packed tube or weaving your way along a busy pavement - that a proportion of the people in the vicinity may well have the virus. But I put any qualms to one side and thoroughly enjoyed the hustle and bustle (although we both used our masks in shops and on transport).
