Winter warmer

Today didn’t quite go to plan; another headache….ugh!
Still, it remained a headache rather than developing into a migraine so that was a bonus.

I got to have breakfast with Mr A before he left for work, then off to the market for broth mix.

There’s a stall on our local market that has been there for years; family run and one of the few stalls actually left on our feeble attempt. They make their own broth mix and it’s lush!
I always buy a huge bag, complete with thyme, plus a bag of pre soaked peas. Perfect.

By the time Mr A got home from filming a wet and windy rugby match, there was a huge pan full of lovely beef broth, complete with dumplings.
Plenty for tea and loads left over for my lunches at work :-)
