Here is D in his studio on a grey November afternoon, wearing the mask to protect against fumes from the alcohol he is using for his painting.

It has been a wet and windy day - I used my magical bus pass to get to the post office, and my (not so) magical legs to walk home. Just over 5 miles and I'm glad I was wearing waterproof trousers. Someone did very kindly stop and offer me a lift but I refused, thinking of the nice cup of tea I would have when I got home.
