Swan on the loch

I despaired of even leaving the house this morning …… appalling weather conditions and my acer tree is now completely leafless.

Just before lunchtime and into the early afternoon things improved …… the rain stopped, the wind died down (a bit) and there were even a few patches of blue sky.

It was rather chilly up at the Heritage Park so one circuit was enough to keep an eye on the swans and hope to get a blip …… mission successful. The swans are elegant in the air and on the water not when they land with a mighty splash.
