Boomer Beach

It may be March and officially Autumn but it still feels a lot like Summer...a blazing hot 36 degrees!

What better way to beat the heat and enjoy the Labour Day holiday than a day at the beach.

Boomer Beach is about an hour and a half drive away and not for the faint hearted. We took our boogie boards and had a great time trying to catch rides on the waves.

Sure we got dumped a few times and even knocked off our feet by some pretty strong waves...it wasn't elegant and there was sand in our bathers EVERYWHERE!

When we were not out in the water ourselves it was highly entertaining watching the fortunes and misfortunes of others as they tried their luck!
