Birds

Today was not a very productive day. Overcast, dull and cold, although slightly warmer than yesterday.

Dougal was terrified last night when the firework display was going on. It is billed as the loudest firework display in Essex. Dougal was not sure where he wanted to be and at one point set about fighting with his sister, who remained calm throughout. They were near my chair and my instinct was to put my hand down to separate them. Result? They separated and one of them took two piece of my finger with them! There was not too much damage, just a lot of blood!
