An Unkindness of Ravens

City of gold

The rising sun hits the buildings in Melbourne and turns them to dazzling gold for a few minutes each morning. But only for a little while, whilst the angle of the sun is just right. Briefly, at other times of the year, the setting sun hits them for a few minutes each evening from the other side, producing just as good a display. But you have to be very quick to catch it.

Not really better bigger, as this is heavily cropped - I live 25km from the city and have a 120mm lens!
