BCSplash - Remember, Remember...

It's #BCSplash time!

There are so many photographic opportunities at this time of the year with autumn colours in the northern hemisphere, spring in the southern hemisphere, Hallowe'en and now Guy Fawkes Night in the U.K.

Hopefully many of us will now be able to enjoy organised firework displays around the country, but just one year ago it was a different story...

As the second national lockdown started in England, blipper ClickyChick was determined to create her own firework display after community events were cancelled. With fantastic lighting, some carefully positioned props and the help of a vaping friend she produced this superb bonfire night blip!

"I've had to dream up my own gunpowder plot this year. T'reason for this is due to community firework events being cancelled and the guy folks have to thank for that is Boris. Thank goodness! 

Day 1 of National Lockdown 2 and another chance for the United Kingdom to try to overcome the terrible pandemic. The Mate (in our bubble) had no idea when I arrived that his vaping habit would be put to great use! He soon got the plot. The book assisting the shot is The News Chronicle's Housewife's Handy Book.There's a chapter on Science For The Housewife with a section on Laying a Fire. Very handy!"
