Fireworks and more fireworks

Just as well Phin appears unconcerned by the fireworks as they’ve been going off since it got dark around 4.30 this afternoon. We played some Classic Fm earlier and he seemed to enjoy that.

A quick bit of shopping this morning to get wrapping paper and a last minute gift or two for Mr PHL plus a trip to the fish shop for lemon sole and some tiger prawns for tonight’s dinner.

Apart from that I’ve had a quiet day. Our son’s house move seems to have gone well, they’re in and still have to unpack most of the boxes but they’re home. Their house had to go back on the market as their buyer didn’t actually have a mortgage in place but they’ve managed to juggle the money and now have new viewings lined up so fingers crossed for a quick sale.

We’re heading up in the morning to help out.
