Apple Jelly

Lightly spiced with ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.   The first of several batches - I think I know what some folk will be getting for Christmas!   Ruth and I have a production line set up :-)

A beautiful day but circumstances combined to see that I spent most of it indoors.  It's been stressful one at times but we soldier on.

One gem of really fantastic news lightened the day.   The year long battle - i don't like having to use that word but it's felt like a battle - for Ruth's support hours to be funded, has resulted in a positive outcome.  It's almost a year since I contacted the head of Social Services about what looked like a systemic failure to meet the needs of people with autism.  Now we hope for a positive result in her planned move to an independent flat.   We await information from the conveyancers soon.
