Frog 'n' a dog bowl

Ok - it's a back blip but it was so close to being taken today.  I'd already done my blip for yesterday when I put the dog out.  I always give Ellie a snack when I put her out so it was not hard to see this frog - I think she saw it too but, because it remained completely stationary, she did not go for it.  Her next step would've been to approach it and sniff but I decided a photo got priority.  We have these striped marsh frogs in the back (suburban) garden most of the year round but we rarely see them.

As it turned out I didn't to be too worried about it hopping off - eventually I poked it with a stick to allow to skedaddle before Ellie could have a go.
