Grey Heron

The young one spotted me early and flew over to the path. I walked her onto the grass and started feeding her (she is actually eating a bit of fish in this shot). For once there were no dogs around so I as able to give her all of her food on the grass (I did give a tiny bit to the Magpie and dropped a bit which the coot nabbed). After she had finished she hung around for a couple of minutes then took of to the loch.
The older lady was back but very much kept her distance. She had her camera with her and she was very surprised and pleased to see the young one flying over.
