River

We took the dogs to Stoke Lyne today. River does love it there. 
She loved being back in her beloved valley yesterday but it's obvious she also loves it down here which is great. And a little bit heartbreaking.
My mum and dad's house has always been her second home and she spent so much time with Dom there during the lockdowns that it isn't as much of a wrench moving homes as it might have been. She seems happy. She's so loved; loves her walks, loves Archie and Elsie - her pack!
She probably doesn't love not getting quite so many treats as she's used to from Daddy! 
My mum had a ridiculous call out of the blue earlier from the police in Nottingham. My nan's house which is rented out has been used as a marijuana factory and there was a major raid yesterday which seized over a million pounds worth of marijuana plants. 
The house has been completely trashed. I Googled it and saw unrecognisable pictures - plants in every room, pipes and wires everywhere. Apparently they've even dug through the floor to get down into the garage. 
It's the last thing my mum needs. Yesterday was such a lovely day and rather than talking about it and remembering, she's got police and insurance and builders to deal with. Awful.
