Divali treats

Not a celebration we look forward to because of those who celebrate the Festival of Lights with explosive fireworks, but we have lovely neighbours who respect the traditional ways and opt for lanterns and sparklers.

One family in particular always goes out of their way to share their sweet treats with neighbours, and this was our gift, complete with a little candle for us to create our own light.

Wishing those who celebrate, a very Happy Divali. Let’s hope tomorrow’s addition of guy fox night doesn’t turn our skies into war zones that terrorise our furry friends.
