Poppies

A few blipsnaps on here from the village Blippers, but who could resist photographing this beautiful net of poppies in preparation for Remembrance Day?  They appeared yesterday and we saw them as we arrived back from Hebden Bridge, although I had already seen them inside church on Monday.  The local WI ladies knitted the poppies.  Good job well done.  I also liked the fact that each of the fallen had their name on a small cross placed at the base of the poppy net.  A lovely tribute.
