Wonky

I'm not entirely sure what this appendage to some nearby coach house style dwellings is, probably just ornamental, but it's been wonky for as long as I can remember. This evening it looked really good against the sunset sky but it had all moved on by the time I got my camera (how many times have I said that). I did manage a shot with a sunset reflection along the edge of our veranda though, which I thought looked suitably abstract for a Thursday blip.

The bathroom didn't get finished yesterday and the fitter can't come back until next week. We're a bit concerned as he said he is going on a stag weekend in Wales for his brother, which was the main reason he had his second vaccine, so he could get in to night clubs etc. We may keep our distance when he comes back next week.

The study man is here now, but it looks like he will not get it all done today and will be back to finish tomorrow. I will be so glad when all this work is over.

And further to my moan a few days ago, John Lewis never got back to us about our missing bedroom curtains but they just turned up yesterday. They look really nice and mrsfb is happy :-)
