Making an early start!

I know the the 'C word' is anathema to some but those who sell, and more especially those who craft, seasonal goodies have to start early as did one of our local garden centres who had a special ticketed event this evening.  We did spend quite a bit (tempted by the discount!) and had a lovely time looking round the refurbished store.  We even met two of Mr MC's former patients while queuing at the tills.
Today Violet spent the day with us as she  wasn't quite up to school, having struggled yesterday.  Her poor mummy is even worse (neither of them Covid-19) so was grateful that we could keep Violet, only dropping her off at teatime, en route to our shopping event.

In other news: today would have been my father's 107th birthday, had he lived so long_ a whole 100 years older than Violet, whom he never met of course.
