Nanny's birthday

We tried to take Nanny out to lunch for her birthday. Well, we did, but they wouldn't let us pay so it doesn't really count as taking her out. Anyway, apart from a couple of minor glitches which the excellent waitress sorted out it was a good meal. I still haven't got the hang of this new lens though. Can't fathom how to get it to f1.8 and have the bit I really want in focus. I'll keep trying!
