The one that got away

This starry clematis lighting up the bush on a drizzly, grey day certainly doesn't look like the native Clematis aristata. A garden escape probably - which is not good if it smothers the natives, but is hard not to admire as it twines through and brightens the scene. I liked the contrat between the stern, senior eucalypts and the petite white flowers.
