Wednesday customers new property includes this man made reservoir which, most times, is a bit of an eyesore (they have plans to improve it) but today's frosty morning gave it an ethereal atmosphere. As I approached it a total of 10 grey heron took flight, I've never seen so many together.

Later in the morning there were 6 Red Kite wheeling around together above the valley, what a day for avian activity.

Spent the evening with RF and took round 2 portions of beef stew with dumplings for dinner.
