Wide Wednesday: Spacious

There was plenty of wide open space on view at Burnham today; sand, sea and sky.

We drove here after we’d dropped Sophie at school for a walk from Apex Park to the lighthouse and back, punctuated by breakfast at Wetherspoon’s - over 5 miles and probably just about walked off the calories from breakfast!

Spent most of the afternoon trying to find out if our travel insurance now covers us for Covid-19 related cancellations. 

After trawling through the relevant website, which didn’t make it clear at all, I spent over an hour trying to get through to the insurance company on the phone to no avail, walked up to the bank the insurance is with but they didn’t know, then finally got through to the bank’s telephone support desk who immediately confirmed it does. Would be helpful if the website just said so and the local branch staff were told. Of course, the feedback survey I was asked to complete on the phone didn’t give me the chance to say that!
