Bus Pass Walk

Bright blue skies greeted the 7 of us who walked today.  Our bus from the Village was late putting paid to catching a connection to Silsden.  So our “Bus Whisperer” Corinthian swiftly came up with a new plan.  We stayed on the bus up to Eldwick and did the Shipley Glen walk, coming down past the tramway and into Saltaire. Took quite a few photos, but liked this one of the rocks on the Glen. Sadly Salts Mill now only opens Wednesday to Sunday so we had to rethink our refreshment plans.  Other cafes in the village were also shut, and one has sadly closed altogether.  So, we caught a bus back to Bingley and had very nice refreshments at the Loft Cafe.  We’re an adaptable lot if nothing else!
