Pine Processionary Caterpillars

These nasty hairy caterpillars have toxic hairs which can cause severe allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock. We arrived at our house in the Dordogne department this afternoon to find them everywhere. Here is a line about 4 - 5 mètres long on the front of the house.
