A naked wine goblet

The colourful Wood Blewit Lepista nuda is usually found in woodland but it emerges on our sand dunes, in the same small area, each year.
Lepista is derived from Latin and means a wine pitcher or a goblet, while Nuda, as you might guess simply means naked.
