Grey Day, White Water

The weir and fish ladder at Lopwell Dam, West Devon. The River Tavy has been dammed at Lopwell where it meets the sea water coming up with the tide from Plymouth.
A beautiful spot for wildlife, it used to be the destination for passenger steamers from Plymouth.
