Another Calendar Entry

Back through west on the first couple of fine days for a while. And there’s the boat in its winter quarters. So, off with sails and sprayhood and all the lines and a start on tidying out. Tomorrow I may even give the decks a scrub. But that’s for tomorrow as the sun is well away by 5pm.
I sit and read awhile, but eventually admit defeat and head to their warm and bright bar. Not for too long - soon I’m back in the boat with Charlie Bigham’s Chicken Tikka heating away. And later, I’m the one heating away. Down filled sleeping bags are just the best.
