Wide Wednesday

Thanks to Bob for hosting again. The challenge this week is ‘spacious’ and I felt this fitted the bill. My friend Clarissa was married last October and since then she and her husband have built a new house on the farm overlooking the valley. It is a perfect spot ( almost…..they had a big brown snake attack their dog yesterday ( the dog survived)) with lovely views and permanent water. I would definitely say it is spacious. They have empty rooms and empty cupboards. How lucky are they? With Covid it has been even harder to build, in a rural setting with supply issues and various lockdowns. They are still waiting for some furniture but will fill it over the years I’m sure. Lots of chatter and afternoon tea was the order of the day.

We had 10 Covid cases here in our town today….the highest number for us for the whole pandemic. It is probably the younger ones as schools are closed and our adult vaccination rate is pretty good.
