Haweswater Cycling

What a place ! We have driven down here before to park at Mardale Head to go walking but on the bike you really get to appreciate the stunning beauty of this place - and also that despite running along the side of the lake the road goes up and down a bit more than you would expect. On the way back there is a lovely downhill coast down to Brampton where at the junction a local remarked that there was chaos - it was busy mind. A car trying to turn round, two bikes and a tractor !
