early evening rowers

Spent some time over at the Ashley Terrace Boathouse this afternoon - the light is certainly fading much earlier now, with the clocks having gone back an hour at the weekend ...

... but just as we were leaving, these rowers on the Union Canal were still making the best of the very last light of the day - they'd just turned at the winding hole, prior to making their probable final-run back along to their own Boathouse, which is a short distance further up the canal ;-)
