Victoria Lily Flower2

Fletcher and I had a  beautiful morning at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens! The flower above is a Victoria amazonica, commonly called the Victoria Water Lily. The plant's huge leaves can measure ten feet (3.048m) across. I'm always impressed by their blooms. No two ever seem alike. This one reminds me of glass sculptures by artist Dale Chihuly!
