Plenty for the birds

Can't believe how profuse the berries are on the pyracantha that grows by my shed.  The pigeons have already stripped the top branches.  Once the birds have had their fill I will prune it back.
The ladies enjoyed pea and ham soup today followed by a mixture of stewed fruit and custard.  The dessert got rid of some 'odds and ends' lurking in my freezer.
